Open Source Contributed Preventive Maintenance Procedures / Instructions:

This is a very new and innovative concept for Biomedical and Clinical Engineering Departments. In times gone past we have all spent too much time writing,re-working,and re-writing these procedures for the equipment we support. Now it is possible to obtain and/or share these valuable procedures with and from others in the field.

To send procedures you would like to contribute for all to use please format in WORD and email them to:

Education Survey

The Biomedical Advisory Council(BAC)is a group of hospital-based biomedical equipment technicians(BMETs), clinical engineers(CEs), and leaders volunteering our time to investigate topics of professional interest in clinical engineering. Our vision is to see the clinical engineering profession become "world-class" as defined by the value placed on the profession by customers as well as benchmarks within and outside the industry. Our mission is to advance the state and the value of the clinical engineering profession in healthcare and to the general public. The BAC is divided into teams that pursue specific issues. This team is working on best practices for improving the education of BMETs and CEs as service providers. We are conducting a survey of practicing BMETs and CEs in order to better understand how educational activities are being carried out in hospitals. We would appreciate your assistance by completing this questionnaire.
